March 14, 2025: Healing Hooves & Pond Adventures

This week has been a big one for our sweet Bee! 💛 While we were away celebrating our granddaughter’s third birthday, our amazing barn manager, Haley, made sure Bee had all the care (and meds!) she needed.

🐎 Freedom at last! When we got home Sunday, the paddock was dry enough for Bee to come off stall rest and enjoy a little more space—I enjoyed that for her!

🦶 Farrier Update: Bee’s front feet have been a work in progress after a not-so-great past trim, but thanks to our farrier, Shawn Kelly, her abscess is healing well. No more bandage, just progress!

🌿 Herd Time: We let Bee back out with the herd, and oh, what a mix of moments—hopeful, playful, and, well… some flying legs! But what melted our hearts? She stuck like glue to Sinjari, her barn mate to the left. Wherever he went, Bee followed. 💕

💦 A New Adventure! The most magical moment? Bee followed Sinjari into the pond! She even started pawing at the water—something we never expected. Just two minutes of curiosity, but pure joy for us!

Sinjari’s such a great influence on Bee, drinking water from the pond Bee is scared of!

👩‍🏇 Special Visit: Tuesday brought an extra treat—my horseback riding lesson mate, Jennifer Kuehn, visited Bee! It had been a while since we rode together, and introducing her to Bee and our little slice of horse heaven made the day even sweeter.

Best lesson mate a girl could ask for, Jennifer Kuehn!

🥧 Happy Pi Day from Bee! 🥧🐝

While Bee isn’t too concerned with math, she does love PI-ntos, PI-voting on her hooves, and of course, PI-cking her favorite herd mates! 🐴💕

From healing hooves to pond adventures, Bee is finding her stride—one step (and splash!) at a time. 🐝💛

🐝Bee on the look-put for a Bonus Buzz from Bee later today!
