April 4, 2025: Fresh Stalls & First Shots

This week was all about clean starts, cuddly comebacks, and a whole new skill I never imagined I’d learn—giving Bee her hormone shot!

Coming home to a spotless stall was already a surprise (shoutout to the barn fairies! ), but the real heart-melter was Bee herself. She was clearly glad to see me—nickers, head rubs, and that sweet face peeking out like, “Hey, did you miss me?”

But let’s talk milestones: I learned how to give Bee her hormone injection this week! Talk about leveling up on the cowgirl chart. I was nervous—this isn’t your average horse-care chore—but with some coaching and courage, we got it done. The video? Not my best cinematography (hello, awkward angles ), but it’s solid proof of how we both did. And you can absolutely see how our girl took it like a champ.

Bee’s stall is looking fresh, her coat’s gleaming, and I swear she’s walking with a little extra sass now. It’s like she knows she’s being taken care of in every way possible.
